Permanent Mothballs
Dear few remaining loyal readers,
I expect you have pretty much given up on seeing more posts on this Blog, and I must apologise for the lack of explanation as to my absence. Basically events in my persona life have conspired to prevent me having the time to devote to doing this Blog justice, especially when there are so many other Bloggers doing a standup job of promoting the kind of message I also like to send.
As of today, my daughter is being indefinitely homeschooled. This on top of my own work/study/charity/occasional political/other commitments means that the DSD Blog is pretty much at an end for the foreseeable future. Rest assured I am still around in the Blogosphere and may even take up the very kind offers of 'occasional guest writer' I have had from other sites, but I simply do not have the time to keep this Blog running in anything resembling a proper way.
I will be back sometime, but for now, ta ta and see you all around...

Was wondering where you'd disappeared to mate. Take it easy and hope to hear from you again in the future.
Very pleased to hear from you.
I bid ye good water for your crop and a good harvest.
Sorry to hear you're sidelining the blog, it's been a pleasure reading. Best of luck with the homeschooling, I'm sure you're doing the right thing.
That's a shame - you'll be missed.
Good luck with whatever it is that is distracting you!
Hi DSD,
Hope things get less busy for you in the future. Look forward to your first comeback post.

Good luck,DSD - Hope to see you back real soon.
All the best,
Stan
Most people who think about such things, think that homeschooling is "the best", its just that its hard. So, good luck to you, and i hope your family gets closer and happier for it.
Best,
G.
Good luck and hope you come back to blogging at some point.
Hey DSD
My thoughts are with you & I will certainly watch for your return.
If you haven't already seen it, check out this story (if you have time)

Damn. I said goodbye a week ago -- What can I say, DSD? Blogger Ate My Homework.
Anyway, we here at Puppy Mansions will miss your contribution, but wish you and your family all the best in the future.
Stay safe, my friend.
Sorry to hear that you are leaving us, DSD. Best of luck.
DK
Your daughter is very fortunate to have a dad like you. You are sacrificing yourself to give her the best start in life you can.
Looking back at the way the English 'state' education system has failed to equip both our sons, now 15 and 16, with the basics needed to make it in the world, along with no sense of or security in their own religious, ethnic, cultural or national identity, I can only salute you and wish you well.
May God give you the skill, patience and endurance you will need to run this particular marathon.
All the best DSD,
DSD, I don't get around here as often as I would like and find this post most disturbing. I will continue to check back in hopes that you will once again grace us with your wit and wisdom.
Sincerely
GM Roper
Cancer Sucks!
Come back Shane. come back.
