From the ever-wonderful Cox and Forkum. The European Union, of course, says this verdict is 'barbaric'. But the Saddam Hussein regime torturing and murdering hundreds of thousands, perhaps millions, of its own citizens wasnt 'barbaric'. It just wasnt worth, you know, mentioning.

You know even if we ignore all the extra judicial killing that Saddam was responsible for, the country still had a death penalty, which was administered under normal judicial law. I don't recall the criticism of that "barbarism".

Remember its only barbaric if we or our allies do it. When our enemies do it they are only expressing themselves through their vibrant, highly enriching cultural noble savagery.

Interesting article. I would point out that it isn't the BNP's position on the Middle East which would prevent me voting for them, but the fact that for every article like this there is another one with anti-Semitic overtones talking about Zionist media lobbies and shadowy neocons as the 'foreign policy wing of the Likud Party' etc etc, or praising the memory of Nazi nutballs like Tyndall.
There is also the membership. For every sensible chap like Gareth aka BNP Member (who I do not agree with on many issues but does not seem to me to be a racist in the actual sense of the word) there is at least one or more loons like Guessedworker from Majority Rights who will turn a thread giving a recipe for lemon chicken into a diatribe about how Jews are assaulting and undermining British (by which he means White European only) culture.
I will stick to my usual position - they say something worthwhile I'll praise them, they say something I find objectionable I'll slag em. But while they number the Guessedworker's of the UK in their ranks I'll be voting UKIP instead.
