He is my favourite columnist in the BNP by far.

True enough. But on the other hand, the IRA werent openly setting up rocket launchers and missile tubes and firing them at Protestant areas with the local population standing around cheering them on. Hardly a good comparison.
The Israelis have even leafleted the areas where Hezbollah have been launching attacks from and warned the population to evacuate. If the locals then stick around to cheer Hezbollah on then I'm hard put to blame the Israelis for defending themselves. Or should they just ignore missile attacks from civilian areas?
Hold on, before we get too sparkly eyed and our muscles bulge with Righteous Nationalist ferver, lets see if the sentiment is reciprocated.

Yes, Israel deserves our support against the jihadis, the best way is to; let them carry on. They have plenty of weapons, some of the best military leaders and the will to apply a jihadi smackdown.

Cherry picking minor incidents of ultra-Orthodox Jews going after Christians isnt exactly evidence that Jews dont like 'us'.
First, I'm not a Christian. Second, the Christian communities in Jerusalem havent exactly been supportive of Israel in the recent past - even when the Palis took over the Church of the Nativity it was still the nasty old Jooooz fault for causing damage when they rooted them out!
The ultra-Orthodox Jews are no different from any snake-bitten fundamentalist Christian group out in the Bible Belt - they are hardly representative of Judaism as a whole. I should know, I grew up around both Jews and Muslims and I know which ones welcomed me despite my 'Christianity' and which ones tended to look at me and all whites like I was something they'd found on the bottom of their shoes.
