Silence Descends Over Pulacharke
Rottypup posts the latest update to this. It seems that the Afghan Army suddenly found where its balls were - but not in respect of removing the Taliban scum who had taken over Pulacharke Prison, who it seems were only persuaded to abandon their insurrection/gangbang of the unwilling female prisoners by a promise of total amnesty. No, suddenly the strenuous objections of the Red Cross and State Department to military intervention were lifted - but only when it came to trying to arrest Jack Idema and his colleagues, who had already recaptured hostages taken by the Taliban prisoners.
The Afghan troops were forced into a standoff by Idema's Northern Alliance comrades and apparently withdrew. Since this update however communications have ceased...Rotty has the facts.

Aaargh! Now that weird thing has happened to your blog, too! I get this on several blogs as the page opens - there's about a 50 second wait while a 3.5Mb download is in progress, and Firefox's status bar reads "transferring data from www.lecf.ncifcrf.gov". (which seems to be the website of some US biological research centre or something).
I've asked other bloghosts what this has got to do with their blogs, and they don't know. Well it's just started to happen on your page, as of today. It's annoying, as it takes almost a minute for the page to load (on a 0.5Mb BB connection).
No need to publish this comment, I just thought I'd let you know. I'm intrigued as to what data this website is transferring onto so many blogpages? Could it be spyware?
Not seeing anything this end Tom. It must be Bush's fault.
