Am I being paranoid, or do you smell a rat too?

On November the 26 2005, four men are kidnapped by armed `insurgents` in Iraq. Norman Kember, Harmeet Singh Sooden , James Loney and Tom Fox (deceased). I find it hard to believe that the `kidnappers` who have time and time again proved themselves to be completely without any level of decency or respect for life through the numerous beheadings and in this case murder of Mr. Fox the only American citizen in the group. So why is it I find myself asking that after murdering one of the members of this group they choose to let the others go. Make no mistake, this wasn’t another Iranian embassy siege the military state that not a single shot was fired during the rescue and also apparently promised that "No rescue attempt will be made unless we know that none of the hostages will come to harm", it has also been reported that earlier in the day of the rescue the hostages were bound (which was apparently rare) and then moved to the basement of the building while the kidnappers left. This does not sound like the actions of a group that wishes to keep hold of its victims. Why would they let these three men go having just brutally beaten and murdered the fourth member of the same group? The entire episode seems to me to be highly suspect and has led me to believe one of several possibilities;
a). The British and Canadian governments made a deal with the terrorists that they are both denying of course but the Americans did not hence the murder of Mr. Fox
b). The entire thing was set up from the start (although this seems unlikely to me)
c). They were trying to get the attention of the world and then realised that apart from a few people, the vast majority either don’t care or are far too busy to actually bother to do anything about it and so decided to pack up and go home
d). Much like the Argentineans in the Falklands, someone told them the paras were coming (with the SAS) so they ran away...

All in all I’m not sure what to make of all this, but something definitely smells rotten to me.

What's even more sickening than Kember's halfhearted and grudging thank you to his rescuers is the fact that these motherfuckers have yet to utter one single word about the death of their colleague at the hands of Muslim murderers. Not one.
